This event is co-presented with The Circle Hostel; in cooperation with the
local community of Liwliwa, Zambales.

on August 8 to 9, 2015 in Liwliwa, San Felipe,
Zambales.

Strangers
Save your idea for a big music
festival. A new age of festivals has begun. Sun and Soul is an intimate soulful
gathering of kindred spirits, ready to greet the return of the south swell to
surfing paradise, Liwliwa, Zambales. Celebrate with local art, music, and
sounds led by (The Four Strings for Ukelele tutorials, Shiela Matias for
yoga, Cherry Oh for dream catcher making and Dee Jae Paeste for Live Painting
demos). For the music jam sessions, we're bringing in SUD, Over the Weekend and
Pusakalye.
Envisioned as a collaborative
project with the local community of Liwliwa, FlipTrip.PH aims to engage the
community further in travel and tourism, whilst promoting sustainable and
responsible travel.
With local partners, The
Circle Hostel, Seagrassroots Movement, and Waves for Water, FlipTrip.PH aims to
ensure that everyone will be able to enjoy Liwliwa, before, during, and even
way after Sun and Soul; leaving the community hopefully better than it was
before.
Beyond the Music Festival:
A Weekend of Inspiration
Travellers can spend their day
in the sun make their own dream catcher, learn how to play the ukelele, do yoga
and soak up inspiration with a live painting demo!
At night, featured young
artists will play music under the stars. Gather around a bonfire and connect
with friends and strangers in the beautiful backdrop of Liwliwa.
An Intimate Event: A Focus
on Experience
FlipTrip.PH and our partners
want everyone to have an unforgettable and meaningful experience. As such, we're
only releasing limited slots. We are also making this very affordable for
everyone, with packages starting from 1050 PHP. All Liwliwa locals are welcome
to sell their wares and can jam and join the event for free.
